11. a) i) How is the emf of a cell determined?
ii) Calculate the emf of the reaction.
Zn —> Zn2+ (0.05M) + 2e- at 25oC
Eo ( Zn2+, Zn ) = -0.76 V

b) i) The emf of the cell consisting of a hydrogen electrode and normal calomel electrode is 0.53 V. Ecell = 0.28 V. Calculate the pH of the solution .
