of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering) for Shipboard Training as Junior
Engineer
QUALIFICATION:
Four year degree(Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of
Technology/Bachelor of Science in Marine
Engineering) from Directorate
General of Shipping (DG ),and AICTE Approved Engineering college
AGE LIMIT:
Maximum 28 years as on 01.04.2013. Candidate must be
born on or after 02.04.1985. For SC/ST
candidate, on or after 02.04.1980. Age relaxation of two years for women
candidates.
DURATION OF TRAINING, APPOINTMENT &
STIPEND:
The shipboard training is only for six months from
the date of joining on any of The Shipping Corporation of India’s
Own/Manned/Managed/Main fleet/OSV vessels as per the vacancy available.
APPLICATION FEES:
Rs.1000/- for General (UR) & OBC candidate’s and
no fees for SC & ST candidate’s
