Osmania University Convocation - Extension of last date for submission Application forms

The 79thConvocation of Osmania University for the conferment of Degrees and Diplomas  on the successful candidates  of Annual and Supplementary  Examinations  of all courses (including M.Phil and Ph.D.) conducted during the period from  July-2009 to June-2012  is scheduled to be held in the month of  February- 2013. However the Ph.D. Degrees which are awarded till one week before the Convocation date will also be conferred.  The actual date of Convocation will be announced later.

The last date for submission of application form along with required enclosures   by the student  to the Principals of their respective colleges of all  the courses mentioned above    is  extended upto   07-01- 2013,  with  a  late  fee  of  Rs. 50/- ( Rs. 200/- + Rs. 50/-). However, the Ph.D. application forms shall be submitted to the Controller of Examinations, O.U. All the Principals of University, Constituent, Affiliated, Autonomous Colleges and the Director, PGRRCDE should submit the Convocation forms to the Controller of Examinations on or before 10-01-2013.

The application form   can  be had from the Director, Department of Publication & Press, OU, on payment of Rs.20/-. Forms can also be down loaded from OU website www.osmania.ac.in   

An additional amount of Rs. 20/- shall be added     (Rs. 200/- + Rs.50/- +Rs. 20/-) if downloaded form is used. The candidates who have already obtained Degree certificates are not eligible to apply. In case they apply, fee will not be refunded.
