The low-cost tablet Aakash was launched by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee
on Sunday (11-11-2012).
The price of the
Aakash tablet was Rs.1,130 for students.
The Aakash tablet is powered by
processor 1 GHz, 512 MB, 7 inch touch screen.
Aakash Tablet was developed by
IIT, Bombay and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).
