About the workshop
Genetic algorithm and Particle
Swarm Optimization: Hands on training using MATLAB is to enrich the
participants on the basics of the Optimization Approaches. The Performances of Particle
Swarm Optimization and Genetic Algorithm have been applied to
find solutions for several Engineering problems. This Workshop is to make the
participants gain complete knowledge on the implementation of these two
optimization approaches using MATLAB.

audience
The Members of the Faculty, Final
year UG students and PG students from Engineering Colleges/Universities who
have interest in the field of Genetic Algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization
using MATLAB and those who are performing research in the same
field.
No TA and DA will be provided for the
participants.
